Laser Treatment For Skin Winder

By Rebecca Campbell

Laser skin treatment is a new technological advancement in the medical field. It is used to remove wrinkles scars and sun spots from the skin. Forget about the over hyped laser treatment for skin Winder that fill the magazines and dailies; this technique so far has had 93% success rate for the period it has been in the market.

The old layer of skin is removed using a state of the art technology and precision. Healing process then begins. The new layer which is now tighter and even toned replaces the one that had been removed. This leaves the patient with a young looking and an appealing skin that very many people desire.

A patient who may desire to undergo the medical procedure must first consult a skin surgeon or a dermatologist to evaluate if the person is a good candidate. The person is supposed to speak out if he/she has an existing medical condition like cold sores or fever blisters. The smokers are requested to quit, and those taking mineral supplements will have to be evaluated.

The procedure takes a few hours. That eliminates the need for an admission. One might opt to receive the treatments in bits, i. E. Small portions of the organ or do an entire face all at once. For the former sedation is used while the latter anaesthetic is often advised.

The areas that have been treated are bandaged for about 24 hours. That area then has to be cleaned four to five times in a day to prevent scabs from forming. Petroleum jelly should be applied following each treatment.

The face might develop swellings during the recovery period. The blisters are completely normal. An ointment should be provided by the dermatologist to be applied to the eye in the swollen spots. A steroidal one is recommended as it is more efficient. Two pillows should be used in that period.

After the treatment in the first 72 hours, the patient may experience some discomfort. Most people usually describe it as a stinging burning and an itchy sensation. That is the effect of the exposure of the nerve endings at the skin surface. In addition to that, the skin surface becomes pale.

The healing period is expected to be around twenty-one days, a rough estimate of a month. At the end of that period, the organ may still retain the redness. Primarily a water based makeup can be used to cover it.

It is also important for a person to use a broad-spectrum sunscreen as the skin will become notably lighter. It will screen ultraviolet B and A during that period. The dermatologist should assist in selecting the specially formulated one for use on the face with a sunscreen protection factor of above 30.

The end of the procedure a person appreciates the tone and the uniform pigmentation. It is worth noting that the process could have some potential side effects as the infrared rays are involved. Such include; burns from the laser heat, scarring. The people who previously had the herpes cold could have them reactivated together with a bacterial infection.
