A Quick Look At How Sol Sunless Tanner Gives You A Lovely Sun Kissed Glow

By Haywood Hunter

In the past, the only way to achieve a gorgeous sun-kissed glow is by bombarding the skin with too much UV radiation. The existence of Sol sunless tanner these days makes having a bronze complexion a less risky task. Read on to know how this particular indoor tanning product makes you look like you just came back from a grand vacation at a sunny beach.

There are two very important ingredients being utilized by it. They include the bronzing component and the so-called DHA. Both of them play important roles in making your skin look like it was exposed to the sun for several minutes. Take away one of these two and you either end up waiting for hours just to sport a fake suntan or get one that easily washes off.

The tint in the UV-free tanning solution performs dual functions. First, it causes your complexion to look dusky right away as it leaves your skin stained. Its presence is very important due to the fact that DHA, the star ingredient, takes about three hours to change the complexion. Thanks to this tint, you don't have to wait for some time before you can look gorgeous.

It also serves as your guide during the indoor tanning product's application. Because it stains your skin, it becomes very easy to tell where the lotion or spray has already been applied. This allows you to end up with the smoothest possible outcome. Without the presence of streaks, no one has to know that the gorgeous bronze complexion you have is not the real thing.

The ingredient capable of making your complexion look dazzling for about a full week is DHA. Extracted from sugar beets or sugar cane, this all-natural substance is also being used as the active ingredient of many other tanners today. When DHA comes into contact with the skin, it causes your complexion to end up darker. The initial effect shows up after about three hours.

The color created by this organic substance intensifies further after 24 to 72 hours. Wait for DHA to completely do its job before you try to reapply the tanning product in order sport a dramatic skin tone change. You may enjoy the realistic golden-brown hue for about a week long, fading gradually as the skin's topmost layer is soughed off naturally.

It's perfectly normal for you to notice a fishy smell some time after applying the tanner. This is actually produced by DHA while it is carrying out its role. Don't assume that it's an issue that is limited to the use of the Sol indoor tanning product because all other DHA-based tanners also give off this smell. Luckily, the addition of scents helps in minimizing this odor.

Avoid taking a shower or bath in the next 6-8 hours in order to give DHA enough time to develop. You will notice that water easily causes the stain created by the bronzing component to be erased. Worry not because by that time DHA has already produced the initial change in your complexion, intensifying further and gradually fading in a week's time.
