Another demerit of this line of work is the amount of responsibility placed upon the hands of these doctors. Once the patient lays on the operating table, their life is usually at the mercy of their surgeon. There is no room for mistakes in this case. One wrong move and the life of the patient is lost. Most patients find this too much of a responsibility for them to bear.

In conclusion, just like any other profession, plastic surgery has its own sets of advantages and disadvantages. It is, therefore, important for one to do extensive research before embarking on this journey. It is also important to note that the number of such professionals in West Indiana has been on the rise over the years.
