6 Steps to Young-Looking, Wrinkle-Free Skin

By Vanessa Summer

No one is entirely safe from getting wrinkles, dark spots and other signs of aging, but women have a tendency to want to postpone the aging process for as long as they can so they can enjoy younger looking skin a lot longer. As we age, we become a lot more likely to develop skin problems. This is because our bodies begin to decelerate in making elastin and collagen. Exposure to ultraviolet rays and other environmental factors also can cause aging. But there are a few things that can prevent premature aging, and the wonderful thing is that they don't usually have to involve using chemical products or unsafe procedures.

1. Ensure that you sleep enough. It's best that you sleep 7 hours every night. In case you are always not getting enough sleep, this will show in your skin. You're going to get hideous eye bags, and also cause your skin to age too soon. And let's not forget other health issues that are likely to arise.

2. Choose skin care products which are best for your skin. To begin with, figure out what type of skin you have. For example, women with oily skin often times have to address problems such as blackheads and acne, which happen when the pores of the skin are clogged by too much oil. They must use skin care products which aren't oil-based. Women who've got dry skin, however, usually have brittle and wrinkly skin. Therefore, they should be using moisturizers routinely.

3. Go with all-natural skin care products. Products which contain chemicals might appear to give excellent results initially, but they can actually cause more harm than good to your skin's health in the long term. If your goal is to keep your skin free from wrinkles for as long as possible, you must just stick with products containing natural ingredients.

4. Pick beauty products and other products that are suitable for your age. You won't just look ridiculous wearing that teenybopper makeup when you're a 40-year-old woman, you risk damaging your skin at the same time. Know that makeup intended for older women have more Vitamin E and other natural ingredients to promote healthier skin. The tones are usually more flattering and will make you look a few years younger than you really are.

5. Get on an exercise program. Your skin benefits directly from working out on a regular basis, as exercise promotes better blood flow. You cannot really say you're too busy to exercise. In reality, you can incorporate it to your day-to-day routine. Do you drive yourself to work each day? You could can rid a bike there instead. If your workplace is on the sixth floor, you can stay away from the elevator and use the stairs.

6. Stay hydrated. Lines and wrinkles are primarily due to skin dryness. Lines and wrinkles will appear on your skin eventually, but you can hold off their appearance by drinking water frequently. The suggested is 8 glasses of water every day. It also helps to drink fresh fruit juices.

Now, I also highly recommend that you check out natural skin care products that me and my best friends personally use!
