Chemical Reactions And Double Explosion

By Haywwod Hunter

Double explosion occurs after an initial blast or the primary blast explodes again due to various factors. Secondary blasts result to great damages compared to primary blasts that have minimal impact on the environment. Blasts are caused by natural factors associated with volcanic activities and the solar system where stars and sun can explode concurrently.

There are reported cases of astronomical double explosion that occur in the space and the solar system. These astronomical blasts normally happen to stars like gamma ray bursts and in case of double explosion, it can cause death or deformation of stars. Additionally, solar flares are examples of blasts to the body mass of the sun and also the sun surface.

Other forms of blasts are caused by artificial applications that involve chemical reactions that lead to aggressive oxidation. These reactions result in the production of large amounts of hot gases and blasts. There are different explosive materials that cause double explosion and they include gunpowder used in making firearms, dynamite used to break barriers and nitrocellulose that is a highly flammable compound.

When electrical devices are exposed to primary blasts they normally explode and cause secondary fire that increases the spread and velocity of the fire. This causes immense damage to personal and public property and may even lead to fatalities. Adding pressure to electromagnetic fields causes sparks that lead to double explosion in workplaces.

Mechanical factors of twin blasts are associated with industries dealing with hazardous and corrosive chemicals. Overreaction causing twin blasts occur when the chemicals that are being mixed in closed vessels explode. After the initial blast, these hazardous chemicals end up being exposed to mechanical factors like fire which causes the secondary blast that can cause serious damage to the surrounding.

Nuclear power is a reliable source of energy to many developed countries but very dangerous if not handled properly. Mishandling of nuclear power causes nuclear blast that is very dangerous and causes great havoc than natural, physical, chemical and mechanical blasts. Nuclear weapons and devices are very destructive when they explode because of nuclear fission that makes them have a lot destructive power.

Fuel tanks are storage facilities for storing fuel in automotive, air crafts, motorcycles, petrol stations and other heavy vehicles like tankers and tractors. A double explosion can also occur in fuel tanks accidentally when leakages of flammable sources of energy are exposed to external factors like sparks. Additionally, blasts occur in rocket, automotive and aircraft engines due to unstable combustion and crushing can cause a double explosion due to volatility in the mechanical function of the machines.

Double explosion can be prevented and controlled in the concerned parties by ensuring that the strict code of conduct is followed when dealing with hazardous and flammable materials. This is because secondary blasts cause greater destruction of property, causes many deaths and leaves many people with injuries and serious burns. When you ensure that safety measures are adhered to, you guarantee the safety of many residents and workers at various industries.
