Forget Take Outs: 15 Minutes Healthy Dinners Are The Newest Trend

Struggling with your plans for dinner? No worries, there are many others like you out there who are going through the same thing. It might be that you're just too tired after a long day and the mere thought of having to go through the arduous process of cooking up a nice dinner is overwhelming. You might very well resort to fast food or takeout, but this isn't a good idea for the long term.

The internet is full of 15 minute meal ideas that are fast and easy and eliminate the need for fast food while providing a delicious and healthy option. Many of these recipes used boneless skinless chicken breast. When this meat is cut into bite sized pieces or pounded thin, it can be fully cooked within 10 minutes. This can be the base for a dish that your family will rave about, and that you will be grateful for.

You could also go for boneless pork chops for another option that is healthy and high in protein. Simply slice them into thin pieces and let them soak in a marinade. After a few minutes, you can start cooking them together with a pinch of olive oil and they should be ready in less than ten minutes. Serve them with rice and salad if you want some variety, and that will make for a healthy and filling dinner.

Marinated steak is yet another choice that can be prepared within 15 minutes. You can start the marinade that morning before work or even the night before. Next, prepare some salad with a combination of baby lettuce, dried cherries, and walnuts for an excellent mixture of flavor and crunchiness. Finally, slice the cooked steak and place it on top of your salad and add a sprinkle of cheese (parmesan or bleu will be ideal).

With these recipes, you can easily get a healthy yet delicious dinner prepared within a very short amount of time. Sure, you can order take out, but it might take even longer for your food to arrive and you will be certain to miss out on the nutritional benefits that a home-cooked meal can give you. All it takes is 15 minutes of your time.
