Ways You Can Live Healthier So You Stay Beautiful

By Joyce Williams

Beauty is a lot more that just fixing your hair or swiping some makeup on your face. It is truly an art form. It has so many techniques and products that require a keen eye, precisions and a sharp attention to detail. Do you have what it takes? Regardless of your answer, here are some tips to help you.

Learning what is appropriate and what is not appropriate as far as what to wear can be a big part of beauty. While flaunting one's assets is not a bad thing, there is the problem of not knowing how much is too much. Dressing in a manner that is too revealing can make others think poorly of you and disregard any beauty.

If you have ever suffered through a cold sore, then you know they are no fun and will want to stave them off at the first hint you are getting one. You could try to dab a small amount of moisturizer over the area to keep it from getting worse.

Take care not to over tweeze your eyebrows. Repeated over-plucking can result in areas where hair refuses to grow back, resulting in bald spots. If you have already developed bare spots in your brows, fill in the areas with a brow pencil temporarily while applying a product to regrow the hair.

Here is a beauty tip! In order to keep lipstick on for an extended period of time, apply a lipstick made for chap lips over it. That's right two lipsticks! One is for color - one is for the top coat! Not only does lipstick made for chap lips help to heal dry and cracked lips, but it helps protect the color below that the other lipstick gives your lips. Be sure to apply just a small coating of it over your lipstick.

Apply mascara until you reach the desired look for your eyelashes. You may avoid doing this because of a clumpy or unnatural look. However, there are ways to make your eyelashes appear longer with mascara that does not look overdone. When you get the desired look you want you should try to separate your lashes with a tool and this will take away any clumpiness.

Instead of wasting your money on countless eyeshadow primers and bases, try using your foundation instead. It is infinitely more affordable than the very small package sizes of eye products and can be applied more generously. Use your finger to apply it all over the eyelid, or just under the brow bone to make your eyes pop.

If you have a wide face, you can make it appear less wide by applying a rosy, creamy blush only on the apples of both your cheeks. However, you should be careful to not apply it too close to your nose or extend the color out past your ears as this will make your face appear even wider.

In the world of beauty, there are many techniques that you have at your disposal to better your appearance. The world of beauty has a little something for everyone, but what works for one person may not for another. Hopefully, these tips have given you a starting point for your own beauty regimen.
