These acids are crucial to the ability of the body to achieve good health and play a major role with memory and brain performance. Incorporating these seeds into your daily diet can work wonders and provide you with a healthy dosage of GLA. Hemp seeds are rich in plant-based, disease fighting phytonutrients as well.

Extract from the hemp is known to include a compound that promotes memory, learning and immune function. It can also stimulate the brain enzyme calcineurin, which plays a role in brain synapse activity. Vitamin E is found in the seeds. This vitamin is known to boost the function of the human immune system, help the body utilize other vitamins and acts as an anti-aging antioxidant. Minerals such as iron, magnesium, calcium, phosphorous and zinc can also be found in this food.

Additionally, these seeds can help with constipation, serving as a laxative. They are also used to treat atherosclerosis, ADHD, eczema and many other medical conditions. Overall, they offer a lot to the healthy function of the body.
