Tips To Enhance Your Natural Beauty

By Natalie Flood

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and while that may be true, people all over the world are in a never ending quest to be beautiful. Becoming the most beautiful person they can be is something that most people strive for on a daily basis. By following the right advice, you can become the beautiful person that you want to see when looking in the mirror. Read the following article and you will find the advice you have been looking for.

Get clothing that fits when you move. One of the biggest mistakes you can make with dressy clothing is dressing up in clothing that doesn't fit. Whether it's leaving room for yourself to breathe even if you drink a glass of water or have a meal when you go out or making certain that your top won't reveal your underwear or be too tight for you to move your arms, making sure that you can move in your dressy clothing is important.

One way to save money on favorite beauty supplies is to shop for gift sets after holidays. Many times such gift sets are not available throughout the year and you will be able to purchase the gift set at a discount after a holiday. One word of caution about gift sets is to make sure you use the items in the gift set. For instance if you are buying a gift set that includes a deodorant that you know you won't use, it might not make sense to purchase the gift set, even if it's on sale.

Often people think they have to use the same shampoo and conditioner brand; this is not true. If one brand of shampoo works for you and you like another conditioner, it is fine! You do not have to condition your hair every day so it is not as important as cleansing your hair.

What if I burn in the sun? The best remedy against a sunburn is to avoid getting one in the first place. However, if you do spend too long in the sun, a little aloe can help. Plant an aloe tree and, when you get a sunburn, rub fresh aloe from the leaves on your burned skin. The aloe is soothing and hydrating, and it helps to relieve the pain associated with sunburns.

Is your makeup smudged, and you are not sure what to do about it? You can't wash your face and redo all of your makeup in the middle of the day! Don't fret, all you have to do is simply keep a few cotton swabs and q-tips with you in your purse and beauty bag. Combine this with some makeup remover and you have a sure fire way to do some makeup touch ups for the smudges. Water also works but if you are wearing waterproof makeup you want to go with a good remover.

Is your nail polish starting to look dull or dried out? Is the bottle half full, but too sticky or thick to be used? It's not too late for your polish to be restored. Simply add a single drop of nail polish thinner, put the cap back on the bottle, and shake well. If the consistency isn't quite where you want it to be, keep adding drops until the polish is as good as new.

If your best makeup brushes are too stiff to use, they can still be fixed! When you're cleaning your brushes, mix in a small amount of olive oil. The olive oil will add oils to your brush similar to the natural oils your hair produces, keeping it soft and usable.

Make a federal project out of your wardrobe. Do a complete inventory, and keep only the things that fit you well and are still in style or always a classic. Mix and match items to produce the best results, and add bling with inexpensive accessories. Half the battle with clothing is usually what we have - or don't have - available to us in our closets. Manage your style by carefully selecting each item you buy and making sure it has a place in your wardrobe. Avoid succumbing to sales that offer cheap but useless clothes you may never wear. Becoming your own fashion consultant is free; just know what looks best on you and how to put it together.

In today's society, what we look like is important. Make sure that you present a clean, polished appearance, and people will treat you with respect. Most importantly, you will feel better about yourself.
