Boost Your Immune System with Superfoods

A balanced, healthy diet, adequate exercise, and enough water to stave off dehydration are what the experts tell us we need for a healthy body. All that is great advice, but where are the specifics? Naturally, certain foods have the required nutrients to strengthen our immune system, while other foods don't. These foods are called 'superfoods' and really can help your immune system stay super tough. One good thing about pork chops is that there is no limit to the different ways you can cook and serve them. Boredom won't set in, that's for sure. Here's a superfood that's easy to add to your daily diet and will super-power your immune system and promote its health. Drink tea every day. One of the major factors in having the best possible health, is to drink enough water each and every day so your body stays hydrated. Your T cells need interferon to maintain their optimum health. Scientific test have concluded that if you drink 20 ounces of tea each and every day, your level of interferon will increase. Interferon protects your T cells so that when your body is being exposed to germs and/or bacteria that cause illnesses, the T cells remain safe. It's really not important what kind of tea you drink. However, read about the many delicious herbal teas and take note of the other benefits they offer as well.

Garlic does more than protect you against vampires - just kidding. It's one of the best immune strengthening foods you can eat. Do you have a problem with the odor of fresh garlic? If you do, just think about all the immune boosting nutrients that are packed into that little, smelly clove. Uncooked garlic is the best way to get the benefits of the nutrients in this superfood. Without a doubt, this is going to be intense; nevertheless, for the most benefit from the nutrients in garlic that aid your immune system, you should eat it raw. Try to fit exercise into your schedule at least three days a week. Drink an adequate amount of water daily so your body stays hydrated. Don't drink a gallon at one time, however, spread your consumption throughout your day. Make it a goal to always pick foods that keep your diet healthy and balanced.
