Many people make the mistake of starting an exercise program with dread in their heart. They think that it's going to be absolutely awful to workout every day. But that's because they think they have to exercise in a way that just isn't fun for them. And nothing could be farther from the truth.

One of the best ways to have fun while exercising is to listen to music. Music just makes people want to move. It's the greatest motivator. So grab your iPod, load it up with tunes that make you wanna shake your bootie.

Friends make working out less painful. Having a conversation while working out will make time go by much more quickly. Following a fitness routine with a friend will be great motivation and a lot of fun.

Workout video games are an excellent way to get in shape and have a good time simultaneously. This is a healthy activity that everyone in you family can enjoy. If you choose an activity that you enjoy, you will forget that you are exercising. When you are playing, your focus is on the game and not the difficulty of the workout, so this will help you last longer and have a more successful workout.

Buy clothing that looks good on you. This is a great way to keep yourself motivated in the beginning of a workout routine. There is a wide selection of workout clothing available. Since there are so many options available, you can put together a variety of different kinds of outfits. This exercise gear will make you want get in shape.

Doing the same routine day after day will get boring after a while. If your exercises are too monotonous, you will find yourself avoiding them, which will make you skip them and eventually you will quit doing them altogether. Make sure you change up your routine every once in a while. It will be easier for you to enjoy your work out and stay motivated.

Well, I don't know about you, but nothing motivates me more than the promise of a reward. When you reach one of your weight loss milestones, reward yourself with something great just for you. And don't be silly and eat a whole cake, that's an awful reward. Get a manicure or buy some new itunes, something healthy and good for you.
