How To Make An Oatmeal Scrub For Your Complexion

By Chona Perry

You don't have to spend tons of money on a facial at the spa because you can make almost the same thing with simple ingredients found in your kitchen. Natural ingredients make for the best facials. Oatmeal is one of the ingredients to use for cleansing and moisturizing your skin. Oatmeal is a common ingredient in many body products. Use the following oatmeal based facials to help cleanse and moisturize your skin.

The first one is a teaspoon of olive oil, an egg white and 1/2 cup cooked oatmeal. Be sure that you mix well so that the ingredients are evenly incorporated into the mixture. Now add a few drops of lemon juice and mix once more. Once all of these ingredients have been mixed well you'll have a pretty good paste. Wash your face. It might be a good idea to clean your neck area too. Next spread the mixture you just finished on your face and neck. Take care that you do not get any of the mixture in your eyes. Allow the mixture to sit on your skin for fifteen to thirty minutes. Before you wash your face, remove the mixture with a warm damp cloth.

Combine a fourth cup of oatmeal, a fourth cup of almonds, a tablespoon of cornstarch and a tablespoon of chamomile flowers (or a tablespoon of chamomile flower tea). Blend these ingredients together using a blender or a food processor then store in glass jars. When you want to use it, put a couple teaspoons on your hand and make a paste by adding a bit of water. Gently spread the paste onto your face in soft circular motions using your fingers. Use warm water and a soft washcloth to rinse your face after spreading the paste evenly over your face, avoiding your eyes.

One pretty easy oatmeal facial entails just blending an entire egg, some cooked instant oatmeal and a small amount of olive oil. Muddle up these three ingredients until you have developed an even paste. Smear the paste over your face and let it dry. Once the mask has already been dried, rinse your face with some lukewarm water. Your face will be hygienic, silky and free of oils.

There are all kinds of oatmeal facial recipes out there to select from in retaining your Meaningful Beauty regimen. Some are incredibly undemanding. Others are difficult and require buying essential oils from your preferred homeopathic market. Whatever the recipe you opt for you can rest assured that it won't be nearly as costly as any item you would have purchased in a salon or at a spa. Homemade facials complete the job for a tiny portion of the price and troubles. Use these recipes as a root to find out just how easy it is to care for your skin at your own home!
